I have a blog?

I want to start blogging again. I also want to totally revamp my blog. New background, new name, new banner....if only I could decide on what to name it. However before I do all that I need to get myself back in to blogging. I am committing for now to try to do one post a week. We'll start there and see what happens. It was something I used to really love. I became busy with being a mom and just never made time for it. I always found it a nice outlet for my thoughts, updates on our lives and to relax in my spare time. What spare time you ask? Yes, that is my problem. Okay, here it goes...expect another post sometime within the next week.

Aria is 18 months old!

Dear Aria,

Today you are 18 months old! You are such a mommy's girl. You are silly, love to giggle, love your big sister, love to do whatever she does, cuddly, active, inquisitive, very strong willed and great at expressing how you feel! (Read between the lines on the last one.) I definitely have my hands full with you.

I wasn't able to do an elaborate photo shoot as you are quite sick. I did manage to get one small smile out of you. You have had a fever for 3 days as well as a cough and cold. I hate seeing you so sick and pray you are feeling better very soon. I must say I do treasure all the snuggles I have been getting from you though. I spent most of today with you cuddled in my lap.

You are a true joy, Aria Joy. I love you.

First Day of Preschool!

Makayla started preschool today. She was so excited and loved her first day!

It is late in the school year to start preschool, but Makayla is a December baby and due to start Kindergarten in September. We thought some preschool would be beneficial before starting. We are also debating delaying Kindergarten a year. We have a lot to decide in the next few months.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Aria Joy is 11 months old!

 Dear Aria,

Today you are 11 months old. You are the cutest little babe on the planet! You are such a calm and happy baby. You now have 6 teeth. 2 on the bottom and 4 on the top which you were cutting all at once this past month. You also took your first steps just after 10 months old and have very slowly been taking more and more. A couple days ago you really started walking a lot more and are now doing it consistently about 50% of the time. You have just learned to clap and give a high five. Your favorite song is "If You're Happy and You Know it Clap Your Hands". It's the cutest thing ever watching you clap along. I am in shock you will be 1 in a month. I love you to pieces baby girl.

Makayla's tomato plant

Makayla was an excited little girl this morning when she picked her first cherry tomato!!! She loves watching tomatoes appear, then turn red and of course watering the plant daily.

Aria Joy - 10 months old!

Arias First Tooth!

I have been terrible at keeping this blog up to date. Poor Aria. I have barely written anything about her achievements.

I thought I should take the time to mention, Aria got her first tooth today! I did not even know she was teething. We were at church and I stuck my finger in her mouth for her to suck on and to my surprise felt a tooth barely poking through! She has been great, a little more clingy than usual and chewing on stuff, but no runny nose, crying etc.

Ah time goes so fast.

Makaylas Princess Party Pt 1

Someone special is turning three and we threw her a princess party! It was a lot of fun! Makayla loved it. Unfortunately most of my pictures from her party were on my iPhone and I lost them all when it was stolen.

Aria Joy - 5 months old!

Dear Aria,

Today you are 5 months old! I had you weighed 2 weeks ago and you were 13lbs 5oz and 24 inches long! Definitely growing! You started sitting today at exactly 5 months! I am so proud! Even younger than your big sister Makayla who started sitting at 5.5 months! I hope that does not mean you will do everything else earlier too though, actually Ièd prefer if you didnt start walking until later than 9 months. You are such a happy, bubbly little baby full of smiles and giggles. It is so amazing to see how much you already adore Makayla. All she has to do is look at you or say Hi Aria and you are grinning from ear to ear. You love your exersaucer and your bumbo. And in the last few weeks you have started wanting to be where the action is. If I leave the room you shortly start complaining until you can see me or anyone again. I often move you around from room to room in your bumbo so you can watch me while I clean.

Your hair is growing back in. You no longer have a fohawk even though a mere month ago you did. Your hair seems to be growing in a lighter shade of brown though. Ièm curious to see how quickly itèll grow. You also have little butterball thighs and I absolutely love those rolls.

Aria Joy - 3 months old!

My little cutie pie is 3 months old today. She now weighs 10lbs 7oz! I cant believe how fast time is flying by.
